(I know it's nearly christmas but I have no christmas ideas whatsoever so maybe next year I'll be able to do something fun, but this christmas you'll just get reviews :I )
I've never tried using quick drops so I
can't compare this topcoat to those mythical magical liquids but compared to
other topcoats I’ve used, this dries pretty fast. I haven't timed it so I can’t
say exactly how long it takes but it takes less time than the average Revlon
nail polish. Another good thing is it doesn't have that problem, where it looks
and feels dry but as soon as you touch fabric or something, bam the textures
transferred. When it feels dry, then it is dry, and hard.
This topcoat comes in a
mattified glass-like bottle but it dries to a shiny strong-looking finish. The
brush is made of clear plastic bristles and in the same shape as other Revlon
nail polishes. The product is not thick but not very runny either. It looks
runny in the bottle but when you put it on it’s just easy to spread and not
slipping all over the place. If your
nails are particularly curved it might run over but it’ll probably pool between
your nail and your flesh and not actually get all over your hands.
I think my nail polish
lasts a bit longer with this topcoat than my other topcoat, but it's debatable.
With this topcoat I think my nails last about a week chip-free but by mid next
week they're usually worn and probably cracking (I don't reapply because I don't
usually wear nail polish for long).
Works well on non-revlon
nailpolishes, doesn't pull your nailpolish up at the edges, they give you a
decent amount and it's not thick and gloopy, it's a pretty good all rounder.
The only problem I have
with this product is the same problem I have with all revlon nailpolishes, which
is that I don't want to pay $15.95 for 14.7ml. I'm a cheapskate what can I say?
more than a dollar per ml? I'm gonna get it on sale then thanks.
